Pandit Om Prakash Sharma from Aligarh migrated to Lucknow in 1948 along with his 4 brothers and started a tea stall. Presently, Mr Deepak Sharma is in charge of the shop and equally involved in preparing & serving the tea. Chai, Bun-Makhan & Samosa are the specialities, whereas the secret of Makhan is home-made ! He continues to work with the old staff, working for almost 40 years now. Sharmajee proudly listed the names of the frequent visitors like cricketer Suresh Raina, R P Singh, Chandramukhi Chautala, Rajpal Yadav, Santosh Shukla, etc. Sharma Tea Corner continues to be one of the most famous tea corner of Lucknow !
