Syed Badr-ul Hasan Khan Bahadur as we known him as ‘Pappu Polister’ belongs to the royal family of Awadh. His grandfather Nawab Sultan Bahadur was a freedom fighter and was related with Nawab Wajid Ali Shah. Pappu Polister is a very popular actor in films, TV, theatre and advertisements since 25 years. 150 kg physique and unique style of acting has established him as an admired actor. Being proficient in many languages like Hindi, Urdu, Persian, Arabic, English, Punjabi, Awadhi, Bhojpuri, etc.
His role in the TV serial ‘The Sword of Tipu Sultan’ as ‘Maharaja of Mysore’ has been admired a lot. The road-crossing in front of his house at Oshiwara Link road in Mumbai has been renamed as Nandi-Chowk as a respect and tribute to the acting of Pappu Polister, as he has acted in many religious serials.
