True representative of Ganga-Jamuni Tehzeeb of Lucknow. He prefer to call himself ‘Kavi-Shayer of Hindi-Urdu’ languages. Very popular on stage for his poetry and stories. Awarded numerous times for his contributions in literature, which he also inherited from his family ! Well versed in 4 languages Hindi, Urdu, Awadhi & English. He is into creative writings like ghazal, geet, story, write-up, reviews, etc. Various newspapers & magazines regularly publishes his articles and poetry. He is famous poet across India and international also in mushaira and kavi sammelans. He is also active on radio and television programmes. Very soon, his collection of poetry will be published. His one of the remarkable milestone is poetry recital and speech in parliament of Sri Lanka. He has edited various books like Uplabdhi on ghazal-geet collection, more than one dozen books on musicology, Bekaraan Aalami’s book Aakhirush and Kamal Hatvi’s book Ye Tae Hua Tha, etc. Played role of Mirza Daagh Dehalvi in famous drama Dilli Mushaire Ki Aakhiri Shama with Padma Bhushan Gopal Das Neeraj Jee ( he acted as Bahadur Shah Zafar). Acted and sung a self written song in noted film maker Muzaffar Ali’s Husn-e Jaana. He conceived and scripted the show dedicated to music maestro Naushad in 2008. He also conceived and directed the Naushad Samman Samaroh 2009 (award to music director Khayyam). He is secretary of Bekaraa’n Aalami Foundation working for the promotion of literature. He also served as principal in Ram Krishna College Atahra, Barabanki for 3 years. LUCKNOW Society Salutes Nirmal Darshan for being the icon of the youth in poetry for both Hindi as well as Urdu languages. Zabaan-e Lucknow is manifested in his writings.
